On December 11, 2019, in Haikou, Hainan province, China, an official meeting was held between the " Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations "(FRDCAR) and the "Zhongguancun Industry&Information Research Institute of Two-dimensional Code Technology " (ZIIOT).
During the meeting discussed strategic steps for the development of the QR-code system and entering the standardization markets of Armenia and the CIS. The system presented by the ZIIOT is based on the use of advanced technologies in the field of standardization, management, product labeling, automation of production management. In turn, The Chairman of the FRDCAR, Mr. Sergey Avanesov, proposed a strategic plan for the joint development of this system on the territory of Armenia and the CIS, to apply this system in the field of international trade and the customs system of the two countries. Mr. Zhang Chao, Chairman of the ZIIOT, accepted this offer and expressed his desire to work together with full confidence. The parties agreed to prepare a number of official meetings with representatives of the customs of the two countries and discuss a plan for the integration of the system. A General agreement on cooperation has been signed between FRDCAR and ZIIOT and a contract is being prepared for the use of this platform in the field of international trade on the territory of Armenia.
